I’m Marty — yeah, like the guy who borrowed the DeLorean and rocked the 80s harder than anyone had a right to. Generation X born and bred, the last crew that grew up with one foot in the real world and one in the glowing arcade cabinet. The 70s, 80s and 90s? Man, that was peak civilization: killer soundtracks on cassette, VHS horror marathons that actually scared you, Saturday morning cartoons worth getting up for, and pixel-perfect games that ate all your quarters and your afternoons.
This spot is my little time capsule, my playground, my mad scientist lab on the other side of the screen.
Here you’ll find me geeking out over:
- graphic design in all its forms
- retro & pixel art vibes that hit different
- old-school arcades and the stories they tell
- horror flicks — the good, the gory, the gloriously 80s
- maps, cartography, world-building
- storytelling that never end
- blogging and newsletters about the stuff that still lights me up
So pull up a beanbag chair, crank some synthwave, grab a Pepsi from 1987 if you can time-travel it here… and stick around.
